Activation of TLS/SSL in the Rules Service

To activate TLS in the Rules Service:

You must first import a signed certificate into USoft's Certificate store and copied required files to your <usoft install dir>\CERTS\ folder. See Using Self-Signed Certificates with USoft for details.

  1. In the USoft Binder, right-click on the Rules Service and choose Properties from the context menu. The initial configuration screen for the Rules Service is then displayed.

  2. If the Rules Service is running, stop it using the Stop button.

  3. Press the Remove button.

  4. Check the Use TLS checkbox.

  5. Press the Install button, followed by the Start button.

After a few seconds, the Configure button should become active, so that you can continue with the configuration and start Rules Engines.
